Yeah Venable has shown very little instincts as a manager.  There’s a stunning lack of talent on the roster, but his decision making seems bad.

I've generally been alright with him but he did overthink this one.

Also, the idea of finding relievers with unique deliveries and mediocre stuff has been a huge flop

Leasure Booser and Freeman all throw hard, but their results have been mixed too.

Might be time to move Meidroth down in the order.  Also have to wonder if he’s healthy.   His stats are in free fall.

Chase has hit a wall. Hopefully just a small slump. 

You can't win many games with 7/9 starters at 550-650 ops and clearly lacking a Witt Judge Ohtani type of impact hitter.

No Robert, No Benintendi,  no Vargas. Tauchman,  Lee , Workman all playing in AAA all supposedly back soon. Not sure of Benintendi status.  They just invested in Workman , so he can't stay in the minors. Tauchman will come up too. If Lee isn't called up they use his last option.

Elko not likely to be around in a week -10 days from now .

It’s where the lack of power is a huge factor.  Pitchers can throw it down the plate and less him hit it as far as he wants.

They're not cutting Sosa but Rojas is superfluous on the roster...and Tauchman will soon replace Palacios.

Imo Baldwin really needs to improve his defense and fundamentals, but learning on the fly in the big leagues.

Finally Amaya has to go down as well...maybe for Workman.
