I don't watch the Cubs enough anymore to know: is the insane wind all the time or more of a rare thing that's just going on this weekend? Feels like a meaningful home field advantage to get used to the crazy things happening to fly balls and pop ups.

playing by the lake in may I'd expect it. especially with the turbo charged climate we live in now.

There’s just no way these lineup decisions are coming from Venable.

Will overall has been a disappointment. Don’t see where he has improved anything on the field.

Eh, he’s having fun. We’d love it if he was on the Sox and doing that stuff.

One thing is having fun. One thing is being a clown. To each there own. And to be clear I didn't like when Anderson did that s%*# either

Vargas doing the Isaac Paredes thing and hitting the ball not that impressively hard, but making sure to hit it to the short part of the ballpark

Yep really good talent. Plays hard , shoes a lot of enthusiasm.

Sox fans would go apeshit over a grinder with that much talent and swag.

Rojas has been incredibly disappointing. I thought his floor would be much higher than this. He has looked awful.

That’s because he IS awful

With Vargas taking 3b so decisively, what exactly is Rojas’s role on this team? Having him in the line up instead of Sosa seems kinda insane.

Venable just keep putting lefties in the lineup against RHP and keeping everyone sharp when it's really not necessary. Like the 1st game with the win blowing out there was no reason to sit Elko against a AAA pitcher. Why call him up otherwise ?
