Chase is just a good little player. Might not ever be a star but could easily have a solid 12 year career as a regular if he stays healthy.

A guy who takes 80+ walks a year and hits the ball hard will make an all star team. The Crochet trade was a kick in the slats, but it could

be a good one in the long run.

Fucking garbage. To let him off the hook like that is just disgusting baseball.

I would say having the guy hitting third not be able to make even a productive out is problematic.

And then Robert comes out watching everybody else get a mediocre fastball right down broadway and he takes it and then he fouls of the 2nd meatball that was right there and then waves at a slider. just a shitty AB and one I'd never have thought I'd see from someone so talented a few years ago. he's getting beat on 93mph fastballs? what in the world!

He looks as cooked as the other busts did.

I haven't wanted to say it but I'm getting close. He's fundamentally broken. It's a long slump at this point and probably just who he is now. His true talent is now a no hit all glove CF, a 2 WAR player. We'll be lucky to get a back end top 100 guy for him.

Was just looking at Iguchi's first three years in the big leagues at 30-32.

780 ops, 774, 747 and then fell off a cliff to .598.

The problem is for you to make the All-Star team with the White Sox...you're likely to be the ONLY representative on the team, so you have to be the absolute best player, like Jose Abreu early in his Sox career.

That's going to be harder to do for Meidroth without many counting numbers like HR's, RBI's and SB's.   And SS is almost impossible to make the All-Star team for either league with all the intense competition.  Tim Anderson obviously pulled that off as well, but he had decent power, SB's and "swagger" going in his favor, as well as being perceived to be the leader of the team.  Meidroth is the type of player you have to watch every day for a full season to truly appreciate his contributions.
