There have been comments about it would be wrong to bring up Colson Montgomery. I don't see the harm in it. Could he possibly be worse than Capra? What do they have to lose by bringing him up?

What could possibly be bad about exposing a hitter to Major League pitchers who isn’t actually ready for AAA pitchers?

Usually when an end of roster guy starts getting more playing time they are released shortly after. So here is hoping.

Can’t believe how bad they were after coming off a series win in Toronto. They need to shut down Smith for a start or maybe 2 but that doesn’t address how pathetic they were with the bats. Slater and Taylor should not be in the starting lineup, they can be used for late inning defensive moves, bring up Baldwin. I keep hoping Robert will snap out of it but it looks like he’s a lost cause. Most of our offense comes from infield guys unless Benintendi is in the lineup, keep him in there against lefthanders, he’s better than Slater and Taylor, our outfielders were 1 for 10 last night with 5 Ks and all 3 are righty batters who were facing a lefthander. Why is Capra still in the starting lineup, even Rojas is better. I’m losing faith with Venable and his BS lineups.

You make good posts, Mighty. Good stuff. Agree on most of it.

I just read the Sun Times article that Lip posted and before that I thought they should him give a 2 week shot in the Majors but after reading the article it’s looks like the kid is still having trouble and is not ready.
