Another good outing for McDougal so far. He had control problems early with 2bb and a HBP in the first 2 innings, but has been turning it on. 5IP 5H (some of them cheap) 0R 2H 2bb 8K.

Baldwin not in the lineup, so maybe joining the team in LA?

HR Colson. 98 mph fastball turns it around at 111.

Most promising thing thus far.

In a road series too! Knights as a team hit basically twice as many HR at home as on the road, so XBH production on the road feels especially meaningful.

Another Colson HR.

Lefty lefty this time

Call him up!

I actually don't mind Colson spending more time in AAA. But good god does the major league club need some thump in it.

I believe as soon I formally wrote him off he’s gone on a tear.  Hopefully he makes me eat a lot more crow.

I feel like he’s just old enough now where it makes sense to start his clock on seeing how good MLB pitching is.  If he’s gonna take a while to adjust, let’s just start the process.

I know a healthy HR jog when I see one and that was a healthy HR jog. The back isn't an issue. Agree 100% it's time to see if he can sink or swim. You look at his last week of production and that's the sort of talent that at one time had him a borderline top 25 guy. Not many left hand hitting SS that have 70 grade raw power.

Call him up for Rockies series and give him a chance for early success
