First Place Blue Jays Come to Town

Cute watching these guys with no power continue to pop it up.  Feels like Vargas and Meidroth have seen their stats free fall.

Why do you hate your kids?

  • First game I’ve taken my kids to in three years.  Not enough ice cream in the world to make this interesting for them.

Loperfido…didn’t we want to trade for that guy when he was in Houston?

I’m gonna be honest with you, this is the first time I have ever seen that name

I don’t remember this one either.  Were you remembering him as a potential Fedde trade target?

Meidroth is a rookie adjusting to the league who is also going through a bad BABIP stretch at the moment.  If you expected no bumps in the road, I don’t know what to tell you…it’s all part of the development process.

Burke just getting killed

Ok; lefties and Burke don’t mix well.  Noted

Looking at his savant page, I was shocked at how bad he’s been against offspeed pitches.  He’s joint to have to make an adjustment and stop taking so many fastballs.

It doesn’t just feel like that.  That’s what IS happening.

It’s a dong fest out there tonight.

Home Run Derby tonight, no cheap shots.

Bad luck coming home and facing the hottest team in MLB.

Giolito maybe? Think it was that season. I’ll look when I’m in front of a computer if I or anyone else even cares at that point lol.
Burke is a reliever I think. I wanna see McDougal this year.

That would be a huge jump.

Never thought even Jays fans could make that much noise in Chicago but tons come down for the shopping/tourism experience…

Yeah maybe that is who it was for. I think he was traded for Kikuchi to Astros last year.

Lol…that’s how I felt last year.  Not eager to repeat the experience.

Well Eisert certainly has come in and calmed things down.

Wait, you're posting from the game?  That's dedication.

It’s just awful.  Half the food places are closed.  No reason to every buy an expensive ticket as I haven’t seen a single usher.

And the pitching collapses...

This is a good old fashioned ass whooping.

I’m warming up to pitch the 9th with Capra gone.

Now coming in to pitch for the Sox, Eddie Gaedel.  Have we become the St. Louis Browns?

just turned the game on and LMFAO

Actually, being the St. Louis Browns wouldn't be so bad.  They never won fewer than 43 games in shorter seasons.

Oh great, the draft is coming up.  So maybe we'll draft a player that will meet a current need in 5 years.  Thanks, getz.
