8/12 Sox vs. Tigers ~7:30PM

Recommended Posts

yellow  / orange   DET @ CHW A grouping of storms around Chicago pregame will slowly clear, but a few more downpours could pop in its wake. I think they manage to play ball here, though the specifics of that are still tbd. A delay or a late start is certainly on the table, and there's some fathomable worst-case scenario with multiple storms over the ballpark that keeps them from playing tonight. Still, I think they manage to play ball through a few nearby downpours, and will keep a close watch on radar leading up to the game to try to time out any @KevinRoth

I must be getting old as I'm sorta sick of summer for the first time in my life. Hot as balls here. Supposed to get some cool rain tmr, sounds good. Sounds like it's been rollercoaster in Chicago, lotta rain, lotta heat, the usual.

Don’t move to Florida, it’s hot from early May to early October, we never turn the AC off during that period and sometimes it’s longer but I’m out there playing golf and bike riding, heat index today was only 101.

I can't imagine living there in summer. I'll be down in Florida for a bit at the start of September. Hopefully no tormentas around.

32 years coming up in December, you get used to it.

Erin is out in the Atlantic quite a way and is expected to jog to the north over the weekend.

Your rain delay programming is George Wolkow getting a one armed hit.

Who was that one armed hitter Pete Gray/Gray or something like that?

Also, memories of Luis Robert lol.

Gomez looking good the first inning.

Unfortunately we already have Martin Burke Cannon with pretty much the same stuff.

Burke at least has the off speed pure stuff to get more swings and misses when he's right, along with Shane Smith.
