8/29 Sox vs. Yankees 6:40PM

Man this roster really sucks right now. Can’t believe we have to watch guys like Robertson and Elko play against the Yankees.  At least Smith looked great.

Sox seem to enjoy losing

Getz was such a genius to make expectations so low that people don’t seem annoyed by a team almost 40 games under .500

Sosa still is a complete dumbfuck when it comes to having a concept of the strike zone.

Throw him enough pitches a foot outside and he will eventually swing at them.

So tired of that s%*#,

Look at the good side, these buffoons didn't allow the Yankees to score in double figures tonight!

WOO HOO!

They'll make it a four game sweep Sunday.

Getz gonna Getz.

It’s laughable that anyone thinks this dude is going to turn around this decrepit franchise before he is justifiably fired by an owner that may actually care about winning.

Remember Jerry’s quotes about how great finishing in second place is.  He has bred a culture of losing and Getz is just his latest pathetic minion.

Not that he was serious at the time but I’d settle for second place right about now. Famous Reinsdorfian sense of humor. 😟

My poor friend you have been Soxified into thinking a guy with a .656 career OPS who never walks is good.

Not to mention a  -1.0 career WAR.

If that isn't sox bamboozled I don't know what is.

He is on defense, then again he fits right in with the rest of this bunch as far as fielding is concerned.

He's not the solution either...

Is a 720s 730's ops guy who is bottom quartile in defense really what the Sox aspire to produce as an example of success?

I don't think it's out of the question to let him play for another year at least and work on his defense.  he could be a 25+ hr guy in 2026.

What is worse is that people are apathetic about how bad they are.

Yankees hit random solo shots.

Sox hit random doubles then stranded them.

One day...

Anyone know who the Sox players were that signed autographs in the concourse today for the kids?

Colson is flying open on everything.  He’s had a ton of good pitches to hit the last few days and is too early.  Hope he doesn’t let this slump get to him, as he shouldn’t be playing.
