HRs in four straight games against the Twins for Colson

  • Really excited about young positional talent.  The number of players historically that can play a solid SS and plausibly hit 40 bombs in a year is probably very, very small. IMO, this lineup

In case anyone missed Eloy, Chase did a fair imitation of him running to first.

I love how Schriff got all excited thinking Beni had any shot at throwing him out

I’ll never understand having a bullpen game when you have a shitty bullpen.

Outman has a cannon(92nd percentile), Benintendi does not (37th).

Keaschall is fast (82nd percentile), Colson is not (41st).

The problem is 2 runs scoring unearned. And everyone running on Teel.

Jeffers with 7 Hrs in 11 games against the Sox.  Buxton 102!

Another recipe for losing baseball: 1-8 w/RISP, 2 errors, 5 bb. No wonder they’re gonna drop an amazing 230 games in a two year span.

What's the alternative? A 3rd catchers' and utility infielders' game?

Greatness in, greatness out?

Well, sort of..   which is why the pen is mediocre at best.

Because you have a tired and even more shitty rotation.   Also, if this keeps Clevinger off the roster, I am in.

Alexander getting ready for loss number 14, which is really impressive considering how many innings he’s pitched.

Give someone else a chance besides Alexander!

What an absolutely pathetic game by an absolutely pathetic organization. Giving away run after run and squandering opportunity after opportunity. Just a miserable miserable performance today. Why do I continue to watch this garbage? Mainly just for Colson's four at bats a night I suppose.

I agree in principle, but that double was terrible luck.

Alexander entering a game is a signal that Venable is giving up and preserving arms for tomorrow. He manages like every contest is game 7 of… Spring Training. He is not trying hard to win.

Mead's had a pretty good week. Not willing to be replaced by Ramos.

Ther you go, Brooks!

I can learn to like these 2 double games by Brooksie.

🤙🤙🤙

Tauchman follows it up. Suddenly 3-11 w/RISP

Tauchman hammered that. Would probably have been gone at home.

Hmm, why would Elko run for Tauchman? Why not Michael A. Taylor? Is Ramos gonna play RF?

I missed that Taylor was in for Mead. Oops.

Is Venable signaling he thinks they've put this game away by taking out the regulars?
