They have made a big deal about finishing strong and avoiding another 100 loss season. Also building for next season. For the first time in a long time I see some hope for this franchise. I really like Venable. I think he has the perfect positive demeanor for a young and building team. Players like him and play hard for him. I think if JR would open the check book free agents would really want to come play in Chicago for a contending team. It is a great city. Not really, but he can lead a clubhouse and that is the most important thing.
