Why Alexander didnt throw the changeup with 2 strikes to the last 2 hitters is beyond me. FB hit for the 3 R HR Oppo by Cowser. 

He’s on one of the worst extended runs of relief I’ve seen in a long time

I really don’t know how a mop up man started getting trusted with high leverage spots for the last month.  It’s probably been the worst thing attached to Venable this year.

7 straight appearances giving up runs. Eats up innings was good for a while after acquired but he seems fried. They need to bring someone else up.

The only appearance of the last 11 Alexander didn’t give up a run, he gave up 3 base runners without an out.

Alexander 6.5 era in August and 7.5 before tonight in September...10/11 appearances with an earned run is something.

Venable has been caught pitching our better guys when they’re losing and the crappy guys when leading or tied way too often the last month.  He seems to have a very difficult time deviating from pregame pitching plan.

He’s a perfect bench bat.  He just can’t stay healthy enough to start full-time which is what the cheap White Sox no doubt have planned for him next season
