Was it really worth if for Reds' fans to get to the postseason for this?

Guess knocking the Mets out was 50% of the joy and happiness of following a team for 6 months.

Looks like Detroit and the Cubs will have to represent "flyover territory" if the Brewers pull of their usual postseason fade.

Of course it’s worth it to make postseason

Someone will invariably raise the 83-79 Cards that won the WS, exact same record as Cincy...counterpoint, Baltimore from 2023-24.

Looks like he's just barely out but maybe it stands.

Dodgers still struggling with their bullpen...guess they really want to make this interesting.

Who the heck buys a Miguel Rojas jersey?

Unless it's also his real last name...

Welcome to D2...Cease/Rodon Day

I'd have loved to have been able to care about games the last four years.  Sucks to piss down your leg like the Sox and now Reds are doing but the one Houston game in 2021 was pretty cool.

It’s always worth it to make the postseason.  And not because of the Cardinals

Well that flipped.  Don’t mind me

Cubs going with an opener than assuming Imaga.

Cease will be at 60 pitches through 2.

Padres sticking with the same lineup

If the Padres can somehow win this one I like their chances at home. I just don't see it though.

Baez with a HUGE hit to score 2

EDIT: Never mind, Detroit runner thrown out at third before the second run scored. I see why these guys were the worst team in baseball in September.

If it's not former players, there's also coaches like Joey Cora in DET lol.

Going with what got them there...

Not going to change, at least Schildt is consistent.

That's a marginal out reversal call that just might have shifted the series.

At least there's not an open rebellion against MLB umpires/refs like in the WNBA.

Maybe he'll do the same thing Snell did last night...but not very likely.

Oops...saw that happen recently against SD where Arraez was thrown out at second trying to stretch for a double by the OFer for a third out while slow catcher scoring almost stopped and was barely out by one step at home.

Doesn't happen very often.

CLE has a better excuse for 26,000 since that home date wasn't known until hours in advance AND it was an earlier day game on a work day.

Other three sites were far easier ticket sells with NY and LA starting at night.

Come on man, there is no excuse for this.  You could announce the time an hour before game start in Chicago and the parks would BOTH be full by the 2nd inning.  Look at these prices, this would be gobbled up immediately in Chicago

That's only like $50 more than lower bowl seats are at Comiskey for a Yankees, Cubs or Red Sox game.

Im shocked the Padres 6-7-8 failed against a LHP again
