October 1, 2025Oct 1 Was it really worth if for Reds' fans to get to the postseason for this? Guess knocking the Mets out was 50% of the joy and happiness of following a team for 6 months. Looks like Detroit and the Cubs will have to represent "flyover territory" if the Brewers pull of their usual postseason fade.

October 1, 2025Oct 1 Dodgers still struggling with their bullpen...guess they really want to make this interesting. Edited October 1, 2025Oct 1 by caulfield12
October 1, 2025Oct 1 Welcome to D2...Cease/Rodon Day both pitching in elimination games with their backs to the wall

October 1, 2025Oct 1 Cubs going with an opener than assuming Imaga. Cease will be at 60 pitches through 2.

October 1, 2025Oct 1 If the Padres can somehow win this one I like their chances at home. I just don't see it though.
October 1, 2025Oct 1 Baez with a HUGE hit to score 2 EDIT: Never mind, Detroit runner thrown out at third before the second run scored. I see why these guys were the worst team in baseball in September. Edited October 1, 2025Oct 1 by almagest

October 1, 2025Oct 1 That's a marginal out reversal call that just might have shifted the series. At least there's not an open rebellion against MLB umpires/refs like in the WNBA.

Doesn't happen very often.
October 1, 2025Oct 1 CLE has a better excuse for 26,000 since that home date wasn't known until hours in advance AND it was an earlier day game on a work day. Other three sites were far easier ticket sells with NY and LA starting at night.

You could announce the time an hour before game start in Chicago and the parks would BOTH be full by the 2nd inning. Look at these prices, this would be gobbled up immediately in Chicago
