Brewers fans: Refer to Vaughn as "King Vaughn"

Some posters: Barely a difference maker

"Barely a difference maker"

Edit: For those not familiar with a ton of advanced metrics like myself - WPA is "Win Probably Added" this shows Vaughn was #1 in MLB for almost the entire month of July

  • I see people on Reddit shitting on the Sox for this trade and some Sox fans regretting it. Hell no lol. Vaughn was never going to amount to s%*# on the Sox. Having him sink the Cubs was probably the b

Man i haven't stopped smiling the past 5 minutes. So happy for Vaughn to play on a real roster, and doubly happy for him fucking up the Cubs

Interesting.  With all the talk about what Vaughn added to the Brewers since they called him up, I was thinking of a stat that could show how many wins he likely added since WAR wouldn’t really work.  Here’s the definition for WPA:

Wow that was CLOSE at home

I enjoy AJ on color commentary

Ex Sox pitching on both screens.

Kahnle and Rodon.

Vaughn>>>Judge (lol)

Which means Judge will break out of postseason xbh slumber...

Aaron Judge has a .223 batting average with 53 hits, 16 home runs, 36 RBIs and 39 runs scored in 63 games in the postseason in his career

Andrew Vaughn is hitting .364 with 4 hits, a home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored in 4 games in the postseason in his career

Without Woodruff and with Misiorowski struggling...Brewers would look to be in trouble against depth of LAD.

Not to mention Trevor Megill in pen missing.

Just don't see a double bobble like that on the infield very often...

2-1 Jays

Lots of shaky defense...second time Naylor has struggled over at first.

Dude are you watching a rerun of last nights game?

JP Crawford gets that run back after the bad throw

Misrowski really struggled while throwing 104 like 3 times eh?

Also Megill pitched last night.

Bellinger not looking like a GGer on that play...would possibly have been a DP at second had he caught it.

They're planning to start him and not just pitch him out of the pen?

Isn't Uribe now functioning as closer?

He pitched the 8th

Rodon had absolutely nothing tonight.  Not having a bullpen arm ready to go at the first sign of trouble is managing malpractice in a do or die game.  But Aaron Boone is just an absolutely hideously bad manager so not surprising

Two blowouts now...

Yankees are really about to get blown out 3 times.

Well, being in the middle of a family vacation and with a 13 hour time difference hard to follow every single game lol.

MLB desperately needs Dodgers in the WS at this point with Mets and Yankees out.

Dodgers/Mariners perhaps most ideal.

Hoping for a Brewers-Seattle World Series because f*** what MLB wants

Eugenio Suarez looks like he could be a 90s WCW Luchador

Maybe the Yanks aren't dead yet...

That's the problem with MLB - if one of the major market teams isn't in the WS every year, they think it's bad for the league.   The rest of the country is just fly-over territory.

The NBA had OKC and Indiana in the finals and the world didn't come crashing down on them.  The NFL would probably be thrilled with a Buffalo-Green Bay Super Bowl.
