Only if it actually hit him. There's no penalty for trying to get hit unless the pitch was a strike.

There is nothing to challenge.  He tried to get hit in the previous pitch, the next pitch he got hit and that’s when the benches cleared.  The replay they showed after benches cleared showed that he threw his hand out at the high and inside pitch and it misses him, then the next pitch hits his hand and he didn’t need to put his hand out

Anyone a think it's sus they didn't even show a replay of the Clement check swing on the broadcast? I thought he went in real time.

Boo fuckin hoo. Maybe the nobody middle reliever should have better control. Giménez didn’t do anything wrong. It also didn’t matter did it. I’d stick my arm out too if I’m a defense first, poor bad middle infielder. Why do you guys care

i thought it would have been interesting if Ohtani got the pitching loss in game 7. Rojas saved him from that.

That's a lot like Rajai Davis' homer off Chapman in 2016. Completely out of left field.

Dude what the f*** are you even arguing with everyone about it for?  It is what happened, people pointed it out and you clearly weren’t paying attention to the slow mo replay that pointed it out during the game.  Why do you care to tell everyone that you weren’t paying attention?  Ffs

the point people were making was “Why was Gimenez pissed off at the reliever for hitting him, WHEN HE TRIED TO GET HIMSELF HIT IN THE PREVIOUS PITCH”. Do you get it now?

Damn that last pitch to Barger was close

Way better pitch than he called Smith out on last inning. Robo umps can’t get here soon enough

Daulton Varsho up to provide the loudest thread bump in soxtalk history(again)

Man that's very close at home

Why did he do that lol

That was almost an all time ending

I feel the game just swung in LA's favor here.

How can you not love baseball

He did save two runs defensively...

This has to be the best game 7 ever

Was Joe Carters walk off a game 7?  I think that one was pretty crazy as well, iirc the Phillies took a late lead and Carter broke their hearts

I actually think IKF was safe. But it's definitely not conclusive so they can't overturn it.

I think that was game 6

Jays have had their chances in this one

Yamamoto understandably down 2-3 in his velo.

Just hope nobody gets hurt.
