Was Joe Carters walk off a game 7?  I think that one was pretty crazy as well, iirc the Phillies took a late lead and Carter broke their hearts

I actually think IKF was safe. But it's definitely not conclusive so they can't overturn it.

He's gonna have nightmares about this lead if they don't pull through...

Mazeroski 1960 walk off against NYY still arguably greatest ending.

Cubs' fans might disagree.

If Pages gets out again here it's gotta be up there with the worst post season performances ever.

Wow...crazy back to back bases loaded.

Pages hasn't been able to hit the broad side of a barn door.

Good lord everything is by the skin of their teeth for both teams

Holy s%*# this is intense

k***’ eatin s%*# all over lol

Two outs at home in back to back innings in this pressure...

Jays have had their chances in this one

They both have, it’s been a great finale

This series is exactly what baseball needs

this is like something out of the Koshien Japanese national high school tourney...unreal

Guerrero to lead off bottom 11

Will freakin Smith

Unlike game 3, all the hitters around Ohtani are hitting dingers.

Edited by chw42

have to leave Yamamoto out there...

most innings caught in the WS since 1924 is the craziest stat for Will Smith

weren't those 9 games long?

👎🏻 *faaart sound*

Booo…

Yamamoto has to win MVP right?

I think he was out.  Smith’s foot came down again before he touched the bag.  If he runs through rather than sliding I think he’s safe

He pretty much won 3 of the 4 games for the Dodgers, so yes I think so

Yeah I know it came down again, but I think IKF's foot got there before it came down again. Probably impossible to prove unless they have the type of technology they use for offside calls in soccer.

Season starts in Japan and then ends up with a Japanese MVP... the tv ratings in that country for G7 have to be though the roof, ofc same with Canada.

Guerrero Jr. was the clear MVP of that series...but didn't come out with a win.

Raw emotions.

LA now 5/9 WS appearances (2017-25), have also won 3 of the last 6.

Well, the off-season starts tomorrow morning.

Getz is supposed to name the hitting and pitching coaches by the beginning of the week, as per Fegan.
