I could be wrong. That sounds accurate. Vaughn was horrible. Elko deserved a look. Well, that look was "overmatched". In his 2nd look, even more so. I could be wrong. There was certainly a correlation between being over Vaughn and wanting Elko to get a shot. I could be wrong. Yes, he started off super hot in AAA, Vaughn was scraping the bottom of the barrel. We brought him up, he hit a homerun and then struck out like 10 times in 20 at bats, and WBWSF decided that he was going to the hall of fame.
