I provided eight pieces of evidence.  This is eerily similar to when we signed Abreu years back.  People were doubtful back then despite all the supporting points that showed we were a serious threat for Jose.  Looks like history is going to repeat itself by Monday.

That was against only the Rockies.

Intl. marketing has changed dramatically since then.

Ofc now the two most hopeless franchises over the last three seasons...one decade later.

The Mets and Yankees both need to make big splashes to respond to Blue Jays/Dodgers/Phillies/Balt.

At no point do I ever want Matt Shaw on my team because I will always actively root against him.

There really are some anonymous shitbags on this website. Just a completely derailed thread full of utter nonsense.

Never said no one was in on him, just said no one is publicly linked to him yet.  If a Yankees were in the mix, that s%*# would be leaked so hard to drive up the price.  It’s a very promising sign of where his market stands.

I’d like to be wrong. Just think we’ve already made our big MLB signing this offseason (Kay).

@Chicago White Sox be 🧌’ing.

Think I’m going to order my son a custom made Murakami White Sox jersey for Christmas and do so today.  Just can’t risk this gets announced Monday and the site can’t make & ship in time.  That jersey needs to be under the Christmas tree come hell and high water.

@Chicago White Sox's son on Christmas morning

I love when we try to will the sox to sign someone and there is literally nothing at all from the agent or major writers on it but we are like "dark mode Getz" lol.

Sox fans DID will KW to sign Iguchi though, so some parallel.

Reds Pirates Astros and Tigers are coming under fire along with the usual big name teams.

Tigers/Mets/Red Sox all desperately need Bregman.

Dodgers Mariners Blue Jays pretty much the only fanbases not freaking out.

Milwaukee is Milwaukee.

St.Louis and Twins fans have pretty much given up.  Padres' fans are close behind.

Kyle Tucker market all the way down from $500 to $300 million.  That's newsworthy.

ESPN’s headline article predicts Murakami signs with the White Sox.

Prediction: Chicago White Sox.Murakami's deadline to sign is Dec. 22, so we're running out of time. His market still seems wide open. The Phillies could also be an interesting fit, or maybe the Los Angeles Angels want to do something. Indeed, if any of these top 10 free agents land in a surprising spot, Murakami might be the one. The White Sox have money to spend -- their current estimated payroll is just $68 million and that includes $20 million for Luis Robert Jr., who might be traded. They have a desperate need for power and Murakami fits at either third or first, depending on where Miguel Vargas ends up. This would be a nice roll of the dice for a White Sox team that looks to be on the rise.”

Here’s the million dollar question.  Would you still want him if the plan was to move  Sosa to 2nd base and Meidroth was relegated to bench duty? :)

There’s a lot of reasons why it makes sense but the biggest obstacle remains: Jerry

I don’t think Schoenfield has ever been correct before

Initial projection: 5 years, $80 million

Schoenfield is out of his mind.

Adding the Angels, too?

The first part of the blurb talks about him not being a good fit at 3B defensively, but then that's okay for him to play there in Chicago?

Ishbia in charge...sure, big splashy move.

Imai to the Giants and Tucker to Blue Jays doesn't seem so off.

When does TOR become Evil Empire 1A?

Maybe local media will be forced to wake up and ask Getz why not lol?

Dustin May terms still unannounced?

Long time for that physical.

Yes, all that is known is that it’s a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2027.

I assume Fairbanks gets a deal soon. I will be shocked if it’s the Sox.

Did @Chicago White Sox write that?
