"Kyler Murray isn’t the only NFL standout who had a real future in baseball if he’d wanted it. Scouts to this day wonder how high the Eagles’ A.J. Brown could have risen; some projected him to have even more talent at the plate than Murray. Brown signed with the Padres out of high school and worked out with the team while in college at Ole Miss, but obviously opted to stick with football."

He’ll obviously stick to the sport in which he can easily make millions, even as a backup QB, rather than trying to get back into baseball at the age of 28.

Yeah different story at 25.

Easier to go from failed baseball career to football.

We had two big time QB recruit with the Pirates in the mid 90s at Augusta.

Charles Peterson first rounder who turned down Alabama for draft pick signing bonus.  Failed.

Mark Farris failed at BB then went on to Texas A&M to play QB semi successfully.  Body/frame quite similar to Colson.
