Yeah different story at 25. Easier to go from failed baseball career to football. We had two big time QB recruit with the Pirates in the mid 90s at Augusta. Charles Peterson first rounder who turned down Alabama for draft pick signing bonus. Failed. Mark Farris failed at BB then went on to Texas A&M to play QB semi successfully. Body/frame quite similar to Colson. Edited March 11Mar 11 by caulfield12

March 11Mar 11 "Texas' Carter Baumler is a Rule 5 pick with late-inning-level stuff who was made available by the Orioles because he had thrown just 88⅔ innings over four pro seasons, only a handful of which were above A-ball. He's showing above-average to plus stuff with his four-seam fastball, slider and curveball while also throwing enough strikes to be a real contributor to this year's big league club." espn.com https://www.si.com/mlb/pirates/onsi/news/pittsburgh-pirates-trade-carter-baumler-rangers-immediately-after-rule-5-draft Orioles to Pirates to Rangers

March 21Mar 21 Justin Crawford wins the Phillies’ starting CF job and Andrew Painter earns a spot in their rotation, bumping Tajuan Walker to the bullpen. Unfortunately, I don’t think they would have any use for Benintendi.
