February 9Feb 9 I keep hearing "B1G...UCLA" and my mind can't compute it. For some reason it's easier in hoops and football.

February 12Feb 12 From the article: “It gives me a sense of comfort now knowing that I am who I thought I was at the time,” Cholowsky said. “The thing with me is just the want to win. I don’t think I could ever put a level to how competitive I am. I don’t think there’s something to even measure that. That’s what’s put me into the spot I am, because of how bad I want things and how bad I want to learn.” 😍

February 13Feb 13 Article in today's Trib about Cholowsky. https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/02/13/chicago-white-sox-roch-cholowsky-ucla/ This is what his UCLA coach says about him: “He’s an exceptional clubhouse guy,” Savage said. “His makeup, his leadership, his body of work in terms of his work ethic in the weight room, drills, practice, meetings … it’s all about winning with him. “Whenever you have your best player as one of the best workers, that’s giving the right message day in and day out and makes life much easier.”

He’ll have a Sox premium to him.
February 14Feb 14 https://stats.statbroadcast.com/statmonitr/?id=642889 1/4 with a double, just stranded, leading UCD 8-4 going into the 9th. Hitting second.

Is there someone else you prefer at this point, like Emerson or LeBron? I like Roch, I dont want that to be taken the wrong way. I'd take him first as of today too! I just think it's possible he could be supplanted or matched as a prospect over the next few months, and he's not a generational talent. I also do have serious qualms about him playing in the Big10 and the meaning of that production. Burress, Garcia, LeBron, and Emerson are all really interesting prospects - I think if Strosnider has one of the better seasons in college this year, he might be my pick! He's got more tools than Roch. I think it'll be hard for a HS player to make a jump in a way where he's the clear best player given the quality of college talent this draft but who knows?? https://x.com/MLBPipeline/status/2022434094454575116?s=20 Edited February 15Feb 15 by Look at Ray Ray Run
