CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Sox winner! Shane Murphy gets the save. Not to be confused with Chris Murphy.

Once there just click on the team whose game you want to watch. Like today to click on Sox symbol and no matter if its the Sox or the opponents broadcast the feed for the game pops up in the upper right hand corner. You can add the Sox broadcast to your favorite place by bookmarking it with a star in the browser in the url. After that for the next game you just click open the browser .click on the bookmark star .The webcast website will pop up already on the Sox page and the broadcast box in the upper right corner will pop up automatically and u can open it from there. I fully expect another leap, but not sure if it will be enough to hold off the eventual impact of Roch. Hope he has a big year and someone overtakes him; then we can trade him for pitching prospects. Keep the pipeline flowing for a change. I know they don't want to mess with what so far has been a good thing (real good thing), but I think Colson would be a good CF Edited Sunday at 01:14 AM by GreenSox

Imagine Benintendi/Hays/Sosa...Colson and Baldwin as your starters. Montgomery would get injured trying to make plays he shouldn't try for, for one thing. Braden Acuna and ??? in LF would be much much stronger defensively. Maybe Baldwin if he can clean up his defense this year.

I wholeheartedly agree with your first paragraph, but WTF on your second? Colson will be a 3B soon, with Cholowsky taking over SS eventually, which aligns perfectly with your plan to trade Vargas. If Acuna is a bust, perhaps they can convert Carlson to CF assuming he hits in the minors for a couple years. He has to project to a 725-750 mlb ops with plus plus defense to really have surprise value to other teams. Which won't be proven until AA...or at least Winston-Salem success.

Timmy U
Nobody has any idea what Carlson will become. Nobody. The idea that we know he will be glove-first ss or the odd man out of their infield is simply conjecture. He has zero at bats in A ball. 1

Well Carlson is already an A++ SS defensively, so that may be like splitting 10s in blackjack. But maybe he'd be that in CF as well. Regardless, wasn't much of the idea behind drafting the Middle Infielders is their position flexibility? . Sox are obviously letting IFs play OF very carefully, and so far it's just Baldwin. But the philosophy seems sound.
