Forgot to throw this in yesterday's thread, but congrats to Kay for his first MLB win since June 24, 2021! McGuire was his battery mate that day. Semien and Bichette were his middle IF pairing.

Also the Sox first win in KC since September 6, 2023. Vaughn and Moncada went yard, Elvis Andrus went 4-5, Touki Toussaint threw a quality start, and Bryan Shaw got the save.

First shutout @ KC since May 17, 2022 in the first half of a DH. Cease (5.2IP), Bennet Sousa, Joe Kelly, Jose Ruiz, and Liam Hendriks (S) combined for the shutout. Abreu (2) and AJ Pollock knocked in the runs. Oddly enough, McGuire caught that one too.

So Kay's last two wins were caught by McGuire and Quero years apart, and the Sox last two shutouts in Kauffman were also also caught by McGuire and Quero years apart. Baseball.

Different look today vs. a lefty starter. Kinda into it.

Martin threw his sinker way more than usual last time out and really cut back on the changeup. Curious to see if that was a Toronto matchup thing or a longer term shift that he'll keep for KC's LHBs too.

I actually like that lineup quite a bit.

I like everything up to Acuna. From him on down it's pretty 🤢. Hays and Pereira coming back will hopefully make it a bit better, but the outfield is still rough.

Yeah, I don’t love the players necessarily, just like the way they’re lined up.

Was going to say the same thing. Ugly bottom of the order. We’ve been used to this over the years but this time it is mostly due to injuries.

That's probably the best lineup we can put out given our injuries, I like Colson 6th better than 2nd for now as it's a pure power spot.

2023 was the year I went to 2 home games and they were both started by Touki. I remember thinking in the 1st that he doesn't look too bad...I also remember that feeling didn't last too long.

Thanks for reminder....watching Artemis live as well.

Im not sure about the jerseys yet, but I f*** with those new City Connect hats.

not the easiest play for hill there, did a good job reading it off the bat.

White Sox losing streak at KC was the longest in the 125+ year franchise history against any individual team. Ouch.

Splash down less than a minute

Take a break with Murray Hill Meidroth up and you risk missing quite an experience.
