I liked Sosa as much as anyone but there was no need for him and sticking him in LF was just some peoples fantasy just to find something to b**** about to try to make the Sox look like are incompetent. I was on the high side as far as predicted win total for the season . I never bought into the stuff that made Mune's stock drop. The whole reason I predicted 77 wins was I expected the Mune Mongomery pairing to hit a lot of HRs and said it could be our own version of the M&M boys (Mantle and Maris) /Murakami & Montgomery. I mentioned a Schwarber or Thome comp a while ago.

NBL is the 2nd best baseball League in the world and produced some all time great MLB players. It may sound simplistic but you don't win a Triple Crown in that league without being an extremely good hitter. The only question was how fast could he adjust ?

It just goes to show you how hard it is to scout talent. The best analytic minds and scouts convinced just about every front office that Mune wasn't worth all the money that was predicted by websites like MLBTR, Fangraphs etc.

This is the White Sox. When it comes to defensive positions, we don’t usually do ideal. The initial choice for CF was an infielder by trade. Meanwhile, Pereira has played more games in CF than both corners combined.
