9 hours ago9 hr Fuller was talking Jacob Gonzalez up in the Spring as a guy who had really embraced their program. The bat speed has obviously improved (it had to). The question is: where do you play him? Sox three best players play ss, 1b, 3b. Those are all positions he has played. I think if he were fast enough to play of, he would already be getting reps there. He can play 2b, but Meidroth is a better defender and has been coming on with the bat. It’s a good problem to have.
