What in the f*** are you talking about? I watch every game and I’m also not some dinosaur who doesn’t understand how basic statistics like BABIP work. This isn’t very hard pal…Peters a has a .378 BA

My prediction for today: Vargas is going to introduce himself to the Phillies and their fans today. Six or so total bases for Miguel.

Mr sandman, bring me a dream

I would handle this almost like a bullpen game. Gilbert for maybe 2, then Sandlin for 3, 4 tops. Not letting him face Schwarber, Harper, Marsh more than once. Then empty out the pen to try to steal one. Similar to Burke, Sandlin has trouble with lefties.

Man, would it be nice to steal this series on the road. We need Sandlin from his 1st game today, and not the one from his 2nd game.

Also, Sam should be in the leadoff spot permanently, until he proves otherwise.

Problem with that is his .310 OPS vs lefties

He's been proving otherwise every time they face a lefty starter. I agree, he should always lead off against a RHP.

He has definitely struggled there vL, but I'm willing to let him at least try it a bit. Otherwise I know we have to use Chase basically.

Hell, even Grichuk at leadoff vL is a decent option. He has been a surprise to me so far, not the typical trash heap filler we've tried to plug in.

With an off day tomorrow it seems possible

He already bats lead off against RHP everyday

OT: posted in NBA thread but RIP Stacey King.

Chase has been insane against LHP this year.

Hey, give me a break! I've been out of commission for 2 weeks, I'm behind on the state of the team! :)

We need a sad emoji. Very sad, too young.

Phillies 2026 Adjusted Payroll: $280,839,235
White Sox 2026 Adjusted Payroll: $90,997,868

The White Sox and Phillies both have a 34-30 record heading into today's game.

god dammit, can't score again with 2 outs. unlucky it didn't kick further away.

Ant-man running, not sure how he doesn't score on a double to the corner.
