If your South Side stands up for more than 4 hours, consult a doctor immediately.

  • We are only allowed to have one Montgomery at a time. Those are the rules.

I have almost seen enough of Gonzales to say i like him.

he looks hitterish. The org is going a good job telling guys it's time to go hard or go home at the dish. Get your rips in and go up there and do not get cheated. Ks are fine. HR and walks make up for them.

As far as the subjects on the broadcast are concerned, you might think a reliever winning Cy Young is probably due to some ignorant sportswriters failing to read their Bill James. But Willie Hernandez's 1984 was a true unicorn season. 140 innings out of the pen with a 1.92 ERA. Almost a starter's workload, except as a reliever his manager got to pick when to use him so that his innings would never be wasted in a blowout, etc. His 8.58 win probability added that year is the most for a reliever...by a ton. Second most in a season by any pitcher period (Doc Gooden's sophomore season is the only one higher). BTW, two Sox among the top 5 WPA seasons ever: Gossage in '74 and Foulke in '00.

I remember that '88 Gibson HR like it was yesterday.

Aight Fedde need a BIG INNING here

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be like this. Most of it was planned to talk about the 80's and 83 White Sox team.

Some guys can do it.

"...So Kingman would come to the park everyday...Ball one, outside to Montgomery batting from the right side. He'd come to the park wearing a sombrero - and that's sliced right into the gap..."

It's like the MS charity interview during a half inning. The game goes away. Some guys could integrate it and make it work.

They play better at home. Doesn't guarantee a win against a team with an incredible record but I like our chances.

I am sick of this nostalgia Costas stuff. Just hating it.

What?? They’re showing Cubs Ryno s%*#?? Come on!!! Read the room!!

I hate this s%*#!

This is probably going to be an epic jinx but this has been a rather fine outing for Fedde. Would have been great if he had caught the hind end of that double play opportunity earlier.

That Ryno game was magical.

Ryno is one of the few Cubs I could never muster the energy to hate

Dammit. Get off this Cubs garbage!!!

Romo framing s%*# a half foot off the plate would annoy me as an um NGL.

Right there, good job.

This game is painfull to hear. Rather hear Schriffen. Holy f*** Costas shut the f*** up

This broadcast kind of ranks up there for me with Benetti and Walton. I know JoshPR is dying inside but I happen to think he is wrong lol

Lot of soft hits for the Braves today

Great play Jacob

Text book rundown. How does Getz find the time to work the phones, and then personally teach these kids the tricks?

Like, it could have waited. I think we all can agree

This time he fired it home much faster than the other game, 1B is basically just allowing the SS arm to play and making obvious plays. Different angle but for a MLB SS no big deal with some exp.

Excited for Tyler Gilbert
