I think if he has a promising start that goes above 90 pitches we see him in the next week.

The next homestand seems like it could be a nice spot for a debut

Watching Hagen throw is a chore.

Hagen walking too many and giving up hard contact. Sads.

Mason Adams might be our best hope of pitching out of Charlotte at this point.

He has all the makings of a bust, let’s be honest

I just don't see a starter here. Not sure I see a reliever either unless he can pump the velocity out of the pen? Even then the command is so spotty.

It would be a massive L if we strike out on Hagen and Noah.

I think finding a rhythm would help Hagen. He does not get it and throw it.

3rd homer given up by Hagen this game.

Wild pitch and 4th homer. This ain't it chief.

Make that 4 homers given up by Smith. That was a bomb, too. What a dud.

He's just not ready. Maybe someday he will be ready, but he's not there. Certainly feels like the type of player who might just get things to line up one day and start dominating. But this is not the day and it may never come.

Would trade him in a heartbeat for a controllable starter

I feel like Fauske is a dude who is gonna click at some point and become a monster. The tools are there.

Smith was a 5 inning pitcher in college.

Shirley’s pitching evaluation has been ??

Isn't the rumor that Shirley wanted Konnor Griffin, but Getz big dicked him and chose Hagen Smith?

I wonder if Hagen was instructed to work on something specifically or to only throw a certain pitch?

Four homers in one game after rumors of nearly being called up doesn’t pass the smell test.

Yea. Sounds like Getz wanted more of sure thing? Higher floor. Funny how that turned out.

Supposedly Smith was Getz’ choice.  But the pitching drafting overall has been lacking.    Pitching busts are common...need some volume.

he's been my most disappointing prospect so far this year after Hagen Smith, I really felt Fauske was gonna fly past Kanny and be in WS by now

still have high hopes for him next year

He hasn’t been that disappointing, has he? Needs more power, but a .733 OPS as a 19 year old isn’t terrible.

I guess it’s all relative, though. If you expected him to fly through low A, then I certainly understand your stance.

I feel like expecting any prep pick outside of a top 5 selection to fly through a level in their first taste of pro ball is a bit greedy. It's going to take time.

Jaden Fauske is not Eli Willits.
