06/24 - Sox vs. Guards: Sweep the Leg

Featured Replies

Walking in a run with maybe the worst hitter in baseball at the plate is absolutely inexcusable. He’s not a major league pitcher.

I say this over and over. I don’t give a s%*# who the announcers are. If the Sox win that day, whoever it was were the best announcers in the world.

Watch us lose 3-2 lol

Did our scouts think he was a righty?

Acuna might be a better pitching option.

Viciedo or Davidson...Leury?

The 1-0 ball preceding the walk is the hardest pitch Statcast has ever tracked from Rock, at either the AAA or MLB level. Might be a hint that he is over-exerting. Rock is basically a Bryan Hudson prototype with similar upsides and downsides. Downside being a gazillion walks of course (look at Hudson's 2025 stats)

Ozzie?

The plus was not having to listen to the broadcast for 15-20 mins.

McKnight must frustrated but he's play by play...at any rate, a better analyst than either. Which isn't a super high bar.

Where’s Plesac when we need him?

I'd rather watch us win 4-3 🙂

But Hudson was a decent major leaguer the prior season at least.

Capability.

Hicks and Richards are presumably the other two fresh arms in the bullpen today.

The great thing is this team has shown they are never out of it.

Good start!

Gonzalez swing way too long.

Acuna out opsing.

Gonzalez deserved one of those. Hasn't been hitting well at all but had a few tough luck outs mixed in there. May as well get a good luck hit.

Let’s tie it up against this bumpkin f***.

2-1 was a good pitch to drive

Got a cookie

How is that a hit

I can see Grant warming up

Another cookie

More good pitches to hit

Acuna needs to steal here

He was in scoring position to begin with.

Just one damn time Colson and we all forgive you for the shitty clutch hitting 95% of the year

Nevermind, it is Teel. Damn it

More likely than not, won't win this game, but Sox have played at least equal to them. Probably deserving of winning 2 of 3 regardless of what transpires here.
