Does anybody else agree that you should be able to choose one of the last 2 hitters to be the runner at 2nd in extras? Or just let anybody from the lineup or bench be the runner? It's lame when you get unlucky and have a slow ass runner there and the other team gets lucky with a speedster.

I was thinking about what close we could have signed this offseason and Fairbanks was the other main option. He had made seranthony look serviceable this year

I like Venable but I wish they had moved Taylor to closer sooner. I think Seranthoney may have been fine doing setup but hes just feeling the heat whenever he takes the mound now. Its become mental.

I'm not sure whether it's worth it to use Acuna here, but okay I understand doing what you can to try to bring the game to the quickest ending you can.
