Singer was a bad example. But anything is an upgrade over Schultz. And you can’t convince me the cost is that much higher for everything single rental available. There is a major cost to inaction in a close division race. A slightly better starter is not worth waiting weeks to replace current staff. The math is pretty simple.

Given the fact that there been 0 significant trades so far, does that make every other GM incompetent as well?

OR do you think the vast majority of all in season trades happen in a 3-5 day window for a reason? Hmm, tough deductive reasoning

Was waiting for you to make it, now you aren't allowed to leave after 2 innings. Thems the rules

Gotta hope Kay can go 5 innings.

This Yankees lineup is terrible at the moment. Yet they keep scoring off us. Our starting pitching outside of Burke has been god awful against the Yankees. Nobody can make it past 5 innings.

we are going to have trouble scoring one run let alone 4

If they really wanted to contend, center field should be a target the next week. It won’t be, but they need more power.

Really need to get more power from Braden, ultimately.

Catcher can't be worse.

Then you have Bonemer coming fast...pushing Meidroth at second or LF/Antonacci back to second.

Pitching is the much bigger issue ATM.

I just hate watching the catchers hit. This is on Getz for not finding someone else besides Quero and Romo.

Anyone but Romo and Quero….

Reds holding onto a 1-0 lead over CLE going to Top 6 in Cincy.

The at bats are just not competitive. Romos batting average is currently at the weight of a high school freshman

Could be wrong but feels like we’re gonna get swept in 4

Would gladly take 2 wins the rest of this week

What about McAnn? I think he plays for Arizona.

Cleveland already won game 1.

Romo and Quero 92 and 100 on baseball savant metrics for ABS challenges as well making them being useless at the plate even harder to take….

I'll give you a hint - "Rawr"

Just looked at upcoming pitching matchups. Feels like this week and next, they’re facing half the all star team or former all stars.

The pitching matchups for these first 3 games are very tough. They should have won that game last night. The Yankees looked awful until the 3rd inning. The game we have to have is game 4. With Burke going against Weathers.

Mead for Early was a pretty big trade lmao…and there have been plenty of depth swaps so far.

Problem is it’d be nice to see them make these games competitive as you most likely will be seeing them again in the playoffs. It would be nice to see a little success this week
