19 hours ago19 hr Rutsch was recently on the injured list due to a wrist issue. I think he returned recently or maybe was supposed to return sometime this month. Admittedly, I did not look to update that. Unfortunately like Teel, he has been on the IL three times in 2026. That has to be unacceptable to JR and Getz.Not sure JR would want to get in a bidding war with the Yankees for Hunter Goodman. His defense isn't that great, but he can hit, and he is RH. Yea, Teel's last injury really put a wrench in the works, especially for this trade deadline.

Again, why would the Angels have ever traded away a 22-year old breakout starting pitcher with a 100 MPH fastball that was ranked right in the middle of their top 25 prospect list?
