The whole we haven’t lost 4 in a row all year stat kinda means nothing when the team hasn’t won more than 5 in a row all season.

Not much to interpret with it really. Best assumption in baseball is that most games, innings, at bats don't have a lot to do with each other (with a few exceptions). White Sox have played around .500 baseball. There aren't usually too many long streaks one way or another when you're flipping coins. I do see it as a good sign that they don't have a problem in the clubhouse that would lead to bad things piling up.

I never make game threads or grade trades, just so I can say I told you so later. It’s a sound strategy and something only a supervillain like me could think of.

Me and @WhiteSox2023 have a special relationship that allows us to joke with with each other. We are online buds. I would never besmirch his character unless he really needed to hear it

Absolutely s%*# show.

Hopefully this showing is because the team didn’t arrive back to Chicago until 3AM and are zonked, probably not back in their homes until 5AM. Let’s see if they can bounce back tomorrow night.

It’s because he used AB’s instead of PA’s.

Makes sense but the point remains.

Yep, shows they don’t get too high or too low. One of Venable’s best qualities

Schultz 6.06

Sandlin 6.75

Pitching development of the prospects couldn’t be worse this year.

How dare you! Brian Bannister is the pitcher whisperer!

This is exactly how they’ve looked against LHP for a while

Sandlin is another guy who was supposed to throw in the upper 90s and he’s at 94-95.

Bring back Jon Adkins and Felix Diaz!!!

Ofc he would throw 97-99 for the Red Sox.

That loss last night has done a lot of damage to this team's collective psyche.

Neither have the 72 win Brewers. Long loss streaks are more correlated with bad records than long winning streaks are with good ones.

Quero another amazing at bat

Of 2018 and 2021.

Not to mention Hagen McDougal Oppor.

Taylor and Burke are the only remaining success stories.

Edgar with the perfect swinging bunt for a guy who runs at faster than Yasmani Grandal speed

McDougal considered a bust now too? I thought he was still online Sox fans' second favorite low to mid-tier prospect (after the inimitable Mason Adams)

Eh they didn’t get in until like 3 in the morning so they’d be exhausted regardless. Just win the next two.

Not a good sign when Doyle is one of the weaker hitters in baseball and he’s batting 6th
