Did Will Venable purposely make a 2nd mound visit?

It gave Sandlin time to warm up and saved Noah the embarrassment of the short leash.

No. Venable admitted to messing up right after the game. He pulled a boner, and not the right one.

Don’t think so. Venable was probably on a lack of sleep and just goofed. No excuse at all for such a miscue though. If you can’t remember something that happened minutes before you should probably have had your bench coach on high alert and helping protect you from yourself.

Yeah he could be taking the heat. He wouldn't admit that he purposely did this. The whole point of this theory was to avoid the embarrassment of short leash for Schultz.

I'm with you on this one, Bon. Seems like Will is far too sharp to have done something like this accidentally.
