Maybe, but it wouldn’t be the first time someone found something. Not saying he would be this again, but he could be a piece of the team going forward. 4th outfielder with Caleb in center.

We wouldn’t be in this position if it weren’t for Peters. Very encouraging that he’s responded positively after the league adjusted their approach to him.

Gives some faith that he’ll be able to maintain.

It’s also nice that the team is being proactive in looking to develop others as fail safes ( Doyle / Bonemer ).

Meh… he’ll probably suck but that was fun.

Caleb is maybe 25% odds to stick in CF...but we shall see soon enough in the AFL.

Mune injury impacted him more than anything but Colson is going to be an issue. Maybe he is playing through something and will move to 1B never year to alleviate that.

his savant page doesn't match what he's doing at the plate, it's not horrible but not great. I didn't realize he's got a 98th percentile range though. I thought his arm was a lot worse than it actually is, but I think my opinion is skewed from some of his throws from CF to try and get a guy at HP

At best it will give you an idea of is this a horrible idea if he goes out there and looks like Carlton Fisk in LF, then you can cross it off of the list. If he at least looks competent, it would allow you to continue the experiment into spring training.

I think AFL works both ways it will define if going forward with Caleb in CF is valid or to scrap the idea. If Bonemer looks like Andrew Vaughn in the outfield the Sox will have their answer right away.
