After Cleveland go head to head with us they will take on the A’s and Boston… both of whom are playing good ball.

Ya’ll ready to be massive Oak/Bean Town fans?

Let's just go 10-2 and not worry about any other teams 😎

Not sure they look that much different to me outside of the hot streak vs. COL/LAA. 5 shutouts in their last 20 games, feels like this place would burn down if the Sox were going scoreless 25% of the

Let’s go Baltimore. With this few amount of games remaining, 3 games up seems so much better than 2 games up.

  • We really just need to take one of those games in Cleveland and get the tie breaker. Just don't get swept

We're looking at the scoreboard not the draft board in September.

HOU is playing KC, TEX is playing BOS.

More losses from them and another win by us this series!

Orioles 2.5 back now with the tiebreaker. Four homers over 400 feet in first 3 innings.

Orioles, Jays, and Rangers all play each other. They're probably gonna beat up on each other enough that they probably won't win more than 6 or 7 of their last 10. Orioles also play the Brewers and Yankees along with Toronto, so that's a tough schedule, even if Milwaukee and New York might not have much to play for. Jays play the Rangers, Baltimore, and Cincy.

Sox have by far the easiest schedule. But I'm not sure that means much with how poorly we're playing.

This has been a fun season no matter what - I'm proud of this squad and I'm proud of this team. Whatever happens the rest of the month is what it is...we are playing with house money this year and massively exceeded expectations. Go out and let it loose as a team from here on out - no fear - just play your hardest and let the chips fall where they fall. Nothing to loose.

Rangers 5-11 with RISP, someone needs to tell them to swing for the fences more! Gonna be 1 game up going into tomorrow.

Also, I think we can all agree to say f*** you to the Red Sox this year

I was just thinking about this: us playing them when they got hot probably cost us 2 or 3 wins. It also took Gray and Chapman off the market to potentially trade for. The Red Sox historic run basically screwed us and now they're playing the teams we're in competition with for the last playoff spots and sucking it up.

They have nothing to play for right now

Also, I’m pretty sure Gray was gonna get dealt to Atlanta. When that didn’t happen, they tried to get deGrom

The problem is now they’re going to essentially be tied with Houston because of the tiebreaker…for the 6th WC spot.

1/2 game ahead of CLE still, loss tmrw gives them a tie

They’re in a lot of trouble. I’m very surprised at how easy some think it’s going to be to hold these teams off.

Yeah Houston being the 2nd in wild card definitely changes things since we don't own the tiebreaker on them.

Edit: Astros own the tiebreaker over the Rangers, so they still lead the West even with a loss today and a Rangers win.

It also dwindled down options to trade for was the point I was getting at.

Absolutely. Some were saying how long the odds were of the Sox pissing everything down the toilet.

Looks like said odds aren't so long now are they? They could easily finish with a losing record after being nine games over on August 29.

That would be pretty incredible.

Tomorrow is the most important game of the season IMO. I didn’t even say that for today since I figured they’d lose.

And God knows how the pitching is going to be lined up.

"Openers" for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😆

Openers isn’t the issue. It’s they they used Murphy. Given the way things have gone, I could totally see another 4-0 Tigers lead after the top of the 1st.
