Not sure they look that much different to me outside of the hot streak vs. COL/LAA. 5 shutouts in their last 20 games, feels like this place would burn down if the Sox were going scoreless 25% of the

  • Let’s go Baltimore. With this few amount of games remaining, 3 games up seems so much better than 2 games up.

  • We really just need to take one of those games in Cleveland and get the tie breaker. Just don't get swept

Think bigger. WE sweep or 2of3.

Thinking about it, because of the tie breaker situation, the next time we beat Cleveland ourselves our Magic number will go down 3 after that win.

Yeah we really need to win at least one of those games so that we would own the tiebreaker.

Sox vs. Guardians scenarios:

Guardians sweep = disaster. Puts Cleveland in drivers' seat to win the division most likely.

Guardians win 2 of 3 = not ideal, but fine. Sox own tiebreaker and likely need to sweat out the division but will still win the Central by playing around .500 ball.

Sox win 2 of 3 = pretty much puts the Central away in favor of the Sox.

Sox sweep = break out the champagne.

If I were Getz/ Venable I would try to reconfigure the rotation so the best pitchers are going in that CLE series since winning that series would likely be a knockout blow to Cle. Currently Castillo would pitch one of those games.

I think they will do this. Push Burke back from his scheduled Sunday start and have him pitch Monday vs Cleveland.

I like the idea of pushing Castillo back to Friday allowing everyone extra rest and using Sandlin on Thursday.

Burke, Martin, Kay, Fedde and Sandlin/Castillo should be the rotation rest of the way. I'd even go as far as saying Castillo should just be the mop up guy.

With how he’s pitched how does pushing Castillo back to Friday, April 2 sound?

It would be nuts to have Castillo pitch against them unless I guess, the Sox were to win the first two games of the series.

Orioles definitely have the pitching matchup advantage in this series. Hopefully they can take advantage again.

I won’t trust Cleveland to die until they’re out of the divisional race mathematically and are eliminated from the playoffs.

Playing a part in both of those potential outcomes would be one of the biggest opportunities for growth our team has all year.

It could be something they carry with them into the offseason and into next year.

Guardians up 2-0 and threatening for more

Not the greatest pitcher for Balt...could be their last gasp if they lose a couple more games here.

This dude is gonna get shelled if they leave him in another couple innings

Who said Baltimore had the pitching matching today? Wooooof

RIP 5-0

Of course Clevelands s%*# ass offense would be the first one to blow up this pitcher.

Astros up 4-0 also

Baltimore helped them out with some crappy outfield defense. Tavares misplayed two balls.

That would be bad as they still have a ton of games left vs Toronto

Noticed that when Sox play Royals, it looks like they will miss Cameron and Wacha for now. That would be huge

f*** em. We make our own luck

Saw Wacha shove against us a few months ago. Would have loved him at the deadline

All three relevant games are early laughers
