Long day but the pay off in the end was worth it.

Props to the fans who stayed out there…can’t say I’d do the same.

Should’ve swept them, but good win and good series. Cleveland with 3 against Boston, our best chance to overtake them. Bats are getting going again and my man Doyle is looking a million times better in the box (still chasing some non-competitive pitches). BP rested, especially with an off day tomorrow.

This was one of those days where having a retractable roof would have come in handy. But they did get the game played in the end.

Now we've got to win big against KC and Colorado and hope Cleveland falters.

White Sox’s website shows Fedde on Wednesday and TBD on Thursday.

Huge win. I feel asleep after an early morning hike here and missed it after the long delay, gonna put it on right now, looks like a fun one. Great job Martin and nice to see Castillo work a scoreless inning, keep some better options fresh.

Oh, Miguel Vargas is #1 in fWAR for 3B in the game. Meidroth's #5 for 2B. Tristan Peters is #8 for CF. Peters, Antonacci and Grichuk have put up 3.8 fWAR in LF play.

Some really impressive performances. Colson at 3.0 fWAR for 14th overall among primary SS is fun too. All these guys have their best years ahead and maybe even Grichuk too if the Sox can keep using him so smartly.

If the White Sox aren’t able to get into the playoffs after the fun season they’ve had, it will feel like a heartbreaker, but it probably shouldn’t be. This is a team that has lost 100-plus games for three consecutive seasons! Look at where they are now! The playoffs would be wonderful. But what a major step forward they’ve made. With more to come.

Dennis Eckersley was 32 when they finally stopped asking him to start games. His career was only half over.

As starters they had similar ups and downs. It would be the most unlike Sox thing to ever happen in a season of the most unlike Sox thing to happen.

I took away some positives from yesterday's game. I thought I saw Brazoban hit 97 on the gun yesterday. He looks healthy and is another option in the pen.

Castillo was throwing strikes in his inning of work; he could also be an option for the pen now that his role has changed. Peters pinch ran and then played left for the ninth inning, great news there.

Martin pitched great and was pulled for precaution on a lower body issue. No further injury just playing it safe, so that good news.

Brandon had 2 hits, Doyle beats out an infield single to keep the inning alive and motors home from 1st on Brandon's hit, Chase and Sam were fantastic, Colson got a hit and 2 walks.

The boys came up big when the pressure was on knowing Cleveland had won earlier in the day. They are gamers !
