I think we would be out of our minds with joy if we made it to the World Series this year. Of course nobody wants to lose but come on lol

If they were going to lose, I would have actually have been happy for the Brewers. The Woodruff story is great as is Yelich coming through and having a good postseason. So many easy guys to root for.

lol it would be quite a Bookend to the season, open it getting your asses kicked in Milwaukee and ending it same way, except the overall feeling from Sox fans would be so different

Finally found a fan base and ballpark worse than Chicago. They even opened up extra seats for the MB visitors.

Odd they thought Orlando could also successfully host a team when Miami and Tampa Bay/St.Pete haven't.

Except for WBC hosting Caribbean teams.

Jesus, would like to see the times for Deluca and Frelick rounding bases.

More expensive to watch on Jumbotron in Milwaukee than going to the actual game in TB is all kinds of insane.

"Considering the matchup, viewership for Games 1 and 2 of the World Series held up about as well as Fox Sports could have possibly hoped.

Friday’s Rays-Brewers World Series Game 1 averaged 12.26 million viewers across FOX (11.51M), Fox Deportes and Univision, followed by Game 2 on Saturday night at 10.85 million across FOX (10.66M) and Fox Deportes — down 8% and 7% respectively from last year’s equivalent 13.31 and 11.63 million for Dodgers-Blue Jays.

Viewership declined further compared to the bigger-market pairing of the Dodgers and Yankees two years ago, which averaged 15.47 million for Game 1 and 14.10 million for Game 2. But even those declines — 21% and 23% respectively — were not as steep as one might expect given the market size disparity.

The Brewers’ wins comfortably outpaced the previous non-Dodgers World Series, the all-time lows set by Rangers-Diamondbacks in 2023."

Winning nine games in a row to close out a championship would give the '26 Brew Crew the longest single-postseason win streak of all time.

Milwaukee's eight straight wins entering Game 4 of the World Series are tied with four other teams for the best streak within one postseason run: the 2019 Nationals, 2014 Royals, 2005 White Sox and 2004 Red Sox.

Three of those four teams won the World Series -- the Nats and both Sox. (The Royals got Madison Bumgarner-ed in Game 7 of the Fall Classic.) The 2019 Nats, like these Brewers are trying to do, won their first World Series that season. The 2005 White Sox were dominant just like Milwaukee. And the 2004 Red Sox pulled off the greatest comeback in postseason history and shattered the Curse of the Bambino.

Add Big Nick to the list of pitchers I'd be down with bringing in

Vaughn has a chance to drive in a World Series-winning run.

Getz will get a gift basket...

This tag review is insane.

not conclusive

I texted my brother that if they put Seymour in, the Brewers will score. Sure enough, they did.

It is crazy to me how many Brewers fans are here. I could get Yanks or Red Sox or Dodgers but Brewers fans taking over is something. This brewer team is something else!

“We are very excited to make this long-term commitment to Cooper,” said Arnold. “He is a player we feel will be an instrumental part of our future success in Milwaukee. Cooper has all the tools to be a special player, and we are thrilled that he will be in a Brewers uniform for years to come. This commitment continues to show our organization’s passion, led by ownership, to consistently produce a winning team season after season.”

The Brewers did not release the financial details and breakdown for how the money will be paid out to Pratt over the years, though it can be assumed that the deal will be backloaded.

Pratt had just three games of Triple-A experience at the time of his deal, which is the fewest of any player at that level to sign an MLB extension.

so much for Ortiz being inserted for defense

the great Corbin Barnes trade/Orioles overhyped prospects debate

more former White Sox now

Vaughn Booser Drohan

a lot of parallels with 2005 WS

extra innings

3-0 lead on road

Blum extra inning homer

except they held the lead

Crazy that they let Caminero run when he is clearly hurt.

Drohan is a former rule 5 pick by the Sox. He could close this out.

This game has TB walkoff written all over it

warm up Marte Buehrle Ozuna Jenks

Happy for Rays' fans to get at least one game...FOX will be happy, too
