March 14, 200422 yr Kentucky, Duke, Stanford, and St. Joe's are the four #1 seeds in the NCAA tourney.....
March 14, 200422 yr St Louis bracket: Kentucky Lehigh/Fl A&M Washington UAB Providence Pacific Kansas UIC(hope they kick Kansas' ass, although it's unlikely) Gonzaga Valpo MSU Nevada Georgia Tech Northern Iowa Boston College Utah
March 14, 200422 yr East-Rutherford St. Joes Liberty Texas Tech Charlottte Florida Manhattan Wake Forest VCU Oklahoma St. East Washington Memphis South Carolina Pittsburgh UCF Wisconsin (hahahahahaha, a #6!) Richmond
March 14, 200422 yr Atlanta: 1-Duke 16-Alabama St. 8-Seton Hall 9-Arizona 5-Illini (WHAT A f***ING JOKE!) 12-Murray St. 4-Cincinnati 13. East Tenn. St. 2-Miss. March 14, 200422 yr Phoenix: 1-Stanford 2-Texas-San Antonio 8-Alabama 9-So. Illinois (Winable game for SIU) 5-Syracuse 12-BYU 4-Maryland (Wow, they were a bubble team a week ago) 13-UTEP 2-Connecticut 15-Vermont (I predict upset, I know it's crazy) 7-DePaul 10-Dayton(Let's go Depaul!) 3-NC State (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) 14-UL Lafayette 6-Vanderbilt 11-Western Michigan
March 14, 200422 yr for all illini fans I'm sorry but, if we are gonna get a #5 don't put us in the toughest bracket.
March 14, 200422 yr I haven't touched a bracket yet, but that Xavier-Louisville game confuses me..... Xavier had a hot A10 tournament run to get in, so they're coming in hot, but Louisville has only 9 losses this year; they really struggled to close the season.
March 14, 200422 yr Crap! The Irish are goin to the NIT. Oh well.. maybe they will host some NIT games.
March 14, 200422 yr Likes The #1 seeds The ACC seeding (they deserved it when they all tore it up in the non-conference season) SIU as a 9 Manhattan's upset happy matchup with Florida Maryland a 4. I know, I know. They were a bubble team, but the ACC is that good. It's hard to argue Maryland as a 4 IMO. Gripes Gonzaga as a 2. I think they deserve a 3, there are worse things with this bracket. Illinois a 5 and Wisconsin a 6 (I personally like it, but it's not right) Washington an 8, c'mon let's be realistic here. Michigan St. a 7, wow. Their best win is DePaul, and only good win is DePaul, and they are STILL a 7.
March 15, 200422 yr Dicky V. says Atlanta region is toughest. Agreed. Of course his only reasoning for this is that it has Duke and UNC.
March 15, 200422 yr What a f***ing joke GT a 3 , Maryland a 4, and Big Ten champ a 5 ranked 12 and Wisc a 6 ranked 10th. I have never seen a Big Ten champ ranked this low ever .f*** the ACC bias s***
March 15, 200422 yr Agreed. Of course his only reasoning for this is that it has Duke and UNC. Which is exactly why he gave the committe an A. He would have been pissed if teams like Wake Forest and Georgia Tech would have gotten 5 and 6 seeds. This is absolute crap, Illinois will be playing one of the biggest sleepers in the tourney, Murray St. and the only conselation that Wiscy gets is that they get to play in Milwaukee. I cant believe when they showed Wisconsin's locker room that they cheered when announcing they got the 6 seed. I would have thrown something at the camera. :fyou Committee!
March 15, 200422 yr Hey look, Illinois fans whining about their seeding. Just like last year when ND bounced them. They won the league title in a conference that blew this year, big whoop, they didn't even show up to play in the conference championship game. There's six teams in the ACC that are better than them, I don't see why you people think getting a five seed is somehow getting jobbed. If anything, they should be lower considering Wisconsin just kicked their ass and they're a 6.
