Luckily I have talked a lot of good people into coming over here. I would say I have convinced about 10 people to switch over here.

I was part of the group that came over when MLB started to go s***ty. The main recruiters for me were (IIRC) cwsox and HSC, but so many people involved got us over here, that I couldn't name all of them. Baggs may have helped get me over too, I'm pretty sure Jas helped...etc. There were quite a few.

I came over from WSI; can't remember who mentioned it first. I was at the MLB site, but left there 2 years ago (or something like that).

I brought in "Steve Bartman's My Idol"...my younger brother.

me to. never posted there cause i hated the format of the board among other things, so i just lurked. saw a post where someone was dissing soxtalk. came over here to see what they were talking about and haven't been back there since...

 

edit: as far as me recruiting, i've never actually asked anyone to come over here but put a good word anytime it is mentioned and try to mention it whenever i can. i have a link to it in my sig on the bears mb, and if you click the 'www' button on my profile on nfl-fans it links to here...

I dont know if you guys remember but a while ago, maybe november there was a guy who came on and posted all sorts of porn, had a porno avatar and a porno sig, well that guy was my friend who is a cubs fan, (i think his name was cubsfan76, i know 76 because he uses that # for everything and when i saw it i immediatly thought of him), who found the link in my AIM profile, he joined and you know the rest...

As for how I came here, I honestly don't remember. I posted on the MLB boards for awhile, somehow heard of soxnet.net, and found this little gem....

I was readin the boards for a month or 2 bf I joined up, neva been to WSI or the MLB boards bf that. And no I haven't recruited any1 of my Aussie buddies, the only one who likes baseball too is a Cardinals and Pujols fan. But a few of my friends liked lookin at the Hot Chick Thread. :headshake

Same as both greasy and SoxnBears. Mine was for alittle longer though. (about 5 months) before I decided to join. (I was too lazy to sign up to join LoL.) I got one person in (name is loaiza) but just a reader mostly cause he doesn't know what the hell he's doing haha. (BTW, if he tries to troll, ban his ass and erase his whole name off soxtalk... didn't mean to be that brutal LoL.) Some of my friends know about this site cause I'm always on it. Been off and on these past couple week now. (baseball.)
