June 12, 200421 yr Succeeding in Rookie Ball will be Joshua Hansen (24th rounder out of U of San Diego) because he has hit well 2 years in a row in college. While I'd like to pick Gio Gonzalez I'll be creative and say Brandon Allen because I liked what I saw of him in the scouting video from MLB.com. Allen has also hit better with wood bats as well as being a good football player (I love good athletes).
June 12, 200421 yr I'm gonna go with Donny Lucy and Garry Bakkar. Lucy because we are short on catchers in our system and he's a solid one. Bakkar because I'm a UNC homer and he has pretty good stuff.

Hey, gonzalez can't be your pick he's mine. His scouting video just impressed the hell out of me and I really think he has a chance to be special.

June 12, 200421 yr Lumsden and Harrel are mine too (I agree with Jreed fan) and of course I really like Gio. I also think that one of the Sox power pitchers (the two that can hit the mid to upper 90's) will be pretty good.
June 13, 200421 yr I'm gonna say Lucy and Whisler (as a pitcher). I know Whisler's stats suck as a pitcher, but he has 4 legitimate pitches, which is rare for a young player like him. And, we drafted him in the 2nd round and I have a lot of faith in our scouts, so they must have seen something in this guy that's worthy of a 2nd round pick.
