September 5, 200421 yr I liked the movement on his fastball. Also the reason he gave up the hits is because they mispelled his name on his jersey and he was mad and confused the whole time ;-).
September 5, 200421 yr another young pitcher left with alot of confidence... I guess it was too much to expect a Sox minor league pitcher to succeed in his first appearance. I'm not making any judgements on Baj (good or bad), just noticing the trend.

September 5, 200421 yr I thought it was an infield hit all the way....... the bottom line is that he gave up an infield hit, a chop by Ichiro over the first baseman's head, and a simple single to right. He didn't get hit terribly hard.

September 5, 200421 yr I agree with rex. That ball hit to willie, while it's a play he CAN make, it's a ball that willie is probably one of the only 2b in baseball who can even get to that ball. He then gave the Baltimore chop to Ichiro! you just have to tip your cap to him there. The only "bad" AB was vs. Winn, and that wasn't exactly hit hard. He's gonna be just fine. Though I do think he was relying on the FB too much in the little bit we saw of him tonight.
September 5, 200421 yr IMO, this is one of the funest game this team has played this season. Willie's HR, Buehrle havin fun (He's awesome, did anyone see him float that pitch to Ichiro? ) Shingo Time, and Timo's play, it was just a fun game to watch regardless of our standings

I don't think he got his breaking ball over for a strike. But he had good life on his FB. While Adkins will probably compete with a vet for Politte's spot in '05, Baj could work in Jackson's spot. Esp. as he throws strikes
