I mean, he was probably really focused and all that, but you think when someone gets to the big leagues for the first time they'd look at the back of the uniform once......

I sent him a PM and he said thank you to me for congratulating him on making it to the big leagues. it was pretty cool

He is I want to get out to the Cell and go see him pitch. i think he didn't look to bad against the Mariners. (Mabey he can be the closer of the future)

I liked what I saw -- 12 pitches wasn't enough though -- It seemed like they jumped on him early after he got Jacobsen behind in the count with a couple FB's... He was pounding the zone, and maybe catching a little bit too much of the plate --

 

I'm sure he'll be fine in the future.

His fastball looked like it was very straight.

Baj threw too many strikes if that makes sense. He had a guy 0-2, threw away a pitch, and then gave up a 1-2 base hit. You just can't do that. I'm thinking maybe the catcher (I think it was Davis) didn't know his stuff too well.

I'd guess. Maybe he should try throwing the slutter tailing out of the zone more in those situations.....

At least he threw strikes. I am sure it was just nerves because of his debut. I was hoping to see him tonight versus Texas on WGN, but no such luck.

I was lucky to get seats behind the plate for that game (Thatnk to my booze distributor buddy!), and the pitches just looked to 'easy'. Not easy for me, I couldn't hit little league pitching. But from where I was sitting, he looked very hittable. Don't freak, I didn't say he sucked or anything, just that from being there, it didn't look all that good to me.
