UNC faces Tennessee tomorrow at 8:30 CST I believe. Should be a fun game to watch, both teams love to get out and run. Mcf**don, Watson, and Wingate are all solid players. We will see which UNC teams shows up, the one from SC or the one against BYU today.

I got back home last night, earleir than expected. So I won't be in B-Town for the regular season opener against Indiana State. It shall be interesting; I'm so ready though. It can now feel like CBB season to me now.

Another great win for Iowa against Texas, but Pierce is hurt on the last play. I hope he's ok, here's to hoping for a Iowa-UNC final, and to Pierce being healthy. This is a win that the committee will look at towards the end of the season and be very impressed. Texas will be terrific by season's end.

Anyway, I don't know what Texas will be at the end of the year. They're always overrated at the outset. It is a solid win though.

Let me try this again. Another very nice win for Iowa against Texas tonight, hopefully we will get to see a UNC-Iowa Maui final.

Iowa takes down Texas in a good game. Some ticky tack calls were fouled and Iowa shot poor from the line until the stretch where they stepped it up.

 

It was a really good game though. Pierce made a really foolish foul that gave Texas some momentum late when it looked as if Iowa had it put away. But then Pierce hit a huge 3 late in the game to give Iowa the lead.

 

That was BS though how Texas was setting up a play when they should of been at the line. Horner missed a free throw during that sequence opening up the gates for Texas, but Texas couldn't come through and tie it up.

 

Pierce was hurt at the end of the game though. Hopefully its nothing serious but he couldn't put any pressure on his ankle.

It wasn't pretty...It looked a lot like an 03-04 game, but IU is 1-0.

Salukis win in a rout! 2-0. Their pre-season schedule isn't as hard as say Iowa, but we take it.

UNC defeats Tenn, plays a very good Iowa team tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if Pierce can play at 100% tomorrow, and if Iowa's big men can get Sean May in trouble.

Props to Iowa for representing the Big Ten so well early. Big Ten got no respect from SI with only 2 teams in the top 20 and Illinois all the way down at #9. Prove them wrong as they always are. UNC #1 what?

Went to the IU game. We didnt play as bad as the score might look. They werent as selfish as last year. Strickland did have 4 turnovers but Davis will have that fixed. And again, watch out for Pat Ewing Jr and Dj White this year big ten folk!

The Freshmen on the Jayhawks are awesome baby.
