(story may be forthcoming)

When someone's taking advantage of the other.

when he takes s***s on your bed and/or pillowcase

disrespectful of your things/privacy......

when he rummages through your things

when he takes a piss in your mouth while you are sleeping.

When they are cheating on husband and expect you to cover for them.

But never cleaning up in the kitchen is a close second.

I never have. Some girls cheat. Some guys cheat.

First roomate at SIU snored worse than anyone I have heard. Like pigs being slaughtered all night. After a few weeks, I HAD to move. I tried earplugs and everything. You can't imagine!

note to self take a dump on tmars pillowcase next year

 :finger

:D

When they take a s*** in a ziploc bag and then squirt the s*** out right under your door. Well thats where to draw the line with your neighbors.

My Freshman year of college, I came back from a weekend at home... unlock the door to my dorm room to find my roommate and a girl in MY BED. What the heck?!?

well at least it got some action....

Respecting your stuff.

My #1 is; don't mess with me while I am sleeping. Zero tolerance for any gags, jokes, etc. while I am sleeping.

1. Don't touch or use my stuff, don't let your guests or friends use or touch my stuff.

2. Be queit when I'm sleeping. Keep your guests or friends quiet when I'm sleeping

Pay your portion of the bills...if you need a spot then you better pay me back in a timely fashion.

stay outta my s***.

keep the noise/company to a minimum if a roomate is in bed

girlfriends, etc. need not be at my f***ing house 24/7, they've got their own place to live and it isn't at my place

cleanliness

I spent 6 1/2 years living with various roomates and I feel like I was pretty lucky for the most part, but I've had a small taste of all of the above. If any of those had gotten out of hand there would have been issues.

I thought moving in with Brian would present challenges as neither of us had a "roommate" before (granted I only lived on my own for a yr and a half before that - was a kind of nomad before then) living together. It has been fairly smooth for us. My breaking point would be a combination of not paying bills on time, leaving messes and eating my food and not replacing it.

No snoring for starters..... ;)
