January 23, 200521 yr if you look at my original post i never said it wasnt important i just said it isnt as important as it used to be or like it is in college basketball.
January 23, 200521 yr home court is huge when you are there ahead of time and the other team has to travel.. In this case vs the Pistons even though they were playing at Home they had to travel there just like we did since their last game was away.
January 23, 200521 yr That's not the only advantage of home court. It's familiartity and having the crowd on your side. But I guess those stargering numbers mean nothing...
January 23, 200521 yr what staggering numbers... yeah the spurs are amazing at home but they are plenty amazing everywhere. Crowd helps but these are pro's not college athletes who let the crowd raddle them.. In the playoffs homecourt is more important but not so much regular season with the exception most of the time you dont have to travel which is a big help but like i said 5 times it wasnt the case this game.
