April 12 – Andres Nocioni of the Chicago Bulls has been suspended one game without pay for elbowing Detroit’s Tayshaun Prince in the forehead, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 0:17 remaining in overtime of the Bulls’ 85-84 loss to the Pistons a United Center on Monday. Nocioni will serve his suspension on Wednesday when the Bulls visit the Washington Wizards.

thats horses***.

it looked as if it was done on accident.

f***ing bulls***.

I don't even care about the Bulls or the NBA really, but i happened to see that play, and that's complete and utter crap. He was trying to get around him, and it was completely accidental. Wicked gay.

That's some BS. His elbow skid Tayshaun's eye. It wasn't a concentrated blow. At the time, I never would have thought that he'd get a suspension.

It is because of what he did to wade last week or whenever it was. They knew they f***ed up then and have to make up for it. We are lucky he was not ejected last night... the refs must have missed it.

This is so they could suspend him without suspending Haslem for retaliation after hitting Wade. Gotta protect your superstars. :rolly

If a name player did that he wouldn't have been suspended.

OT: Did anyone notice the Pistons didn't commit a foul last night? :lolhitting

This is some serious BS. No way that was intentional

That's f***ing bulls***. I don't know what I'll do without watching Noch.

He can pick which game to miss, right? Because he has to play at Washington.

No he cant pick he's out vs. Washington

Which is soemthing the nba does right unlike the mlb. Choosing the day you are suspended is moronic.

Shat. So does this mean Tyson will start in his place?

are you saying are starting 5 should be Duhon, Kirk, Chandler, Othella, AD?.... id assume either Pike or Griffin would get the start.

BTW,

I watched the WMV file someone posted, and it was clear that Nocioni decked Prince. It was vicious, malicious, and intentional. He's lucky the Pistons already had a scrape this year, it is so close to the playoffs, and Detroit is humming along. Otherwise, it could have been a real ugly brawl.

swim move, look it up.

I was just going to post that. Larry Brown is a whiney b**** and this is all his fault.

No clue where that was from...

Anyways, it's only a matter of time before "unintentional" shots become too much to be considered an accident. I respect playing hard, but I, personally, don't want to have a thug on my team. Noc can develop into a solid player without having to be a thug and play dirty. Frustrating lebron, for example, is acceptable...But as I said in the game thread, I didn't like how that elbow looked. It's not like he has a clean slate and this was hist first offense...

I applaud stern and the league for making an aggressive decision. He's clearly head-above-shoulders when it comes to sports commisioners.

From another board.

If you look at it and slow it down he clearly did not mean it as has been said many times through out this thread.

Theres no way to "clearly" know if he meant it or not.

I'm just saying it looked intentional to me. Hopefully, it wasn't. I would prefer he not gain a reputation as a dirty player because I think he can develop into a solid player without having to be thought of as dirty.

By the way, the person you quoted was saying it was intentional...

In other news, Chris Duhon split Skiles' head open by opening a locker into his face after last night's game. They showed Skiles with the stitches in his head. Duhon was joking that Skiles told him he was going to be released because of it.

He is a bulls fan yet always has a problem with everything the bulls do... good, bad or otherwise. Others were laughing at him for saying that.

Yeah, he was harsh on Noc.

I prefer supporting players who wear the uniform of the teams I support. Negative fans kinda suck...
