May 7, 200520 yr Pitching slumbers a bit today, and the offense is there to pick up the slack with a quick 10 runs! 23-7.

May 7, 200520 yr It's nice to see the pitching can have an off day and we can still win on the road against a pretty good team in the Blue Jays.
May 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 7, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) Guys, Garland is now 6-0! Who woulda thunk it? Absolutely nobody. I'm glad he was able to pick up the win despite not having his best stuff. He's earned it.
May 7, 200520 yr from the AP report: "Someone had a little fun with Konerko, too. Just before his second homer, a message on the Rogers Centre board read "Paul likes to take long walks on the beach."
May 7, 200520 yr Congrats, Jon... http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/gameday...t=.jsp&c_id=cws "Garland became the first White Sox pitcher since James Baldwin in 2000 to win his first six starts of the season."

May 7, 200520 yr Nice to see them win the game. Although Ozzie had no business running Jon out for the 6th inning after the 5th inning he had and a totally fresh bullpen. However it's still nice to see the offense have a big day.

Get over yourself. :headshake
May 7, 200520 yr So our fifth starter now has more wins than the last three years combined I believe (and its only May 7th)
May 7, 200520 yr I was fine with Ozzie putting Jon in in the 6th, as long as he was pulled if he gave up a hit, that hit just happened to be a HR. I was though a little angry later on, he should of left Cotts in to finish the inning because Vizcaino has shown time and time again he is a 1 inning man only and i mean as in dont carry over.
