It always seems like we give a game away to the Cubs. I don't know if you would call giving this away, but there shouldn't have been that homer.

In other news, bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th in Minny, Derrick Turnbow pitching for the Brew Crew, Morneau at the plate and 1 out, and still 4-1 Milwaukee.

I'd call it giving it away. Viz had no business touching the mound in a close game. Pretty much any other reliever (besides Cotts, who lets all inherited runners score) would have gotten the job done.

Morneau struck out, but the ball got away from the catcher, so a run still scored. 4-2 Milwaukee with 2 outs in the 8th, RISP.

Konerko homers 4-3 cubs.
