June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Winnin Ugly @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) Dan Wright won 14 games in his first year than was hurt so I dont think he is the worst sox pitcher Most hated
June 10, 200520 yr Author you cant hate loaiza that much though. he gave the sox a cy young calibur year and once he left, he was never that good. he sucked for the yanks, pitches for the nationals right now, hes doing so-so if memory serves me correctly.
June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Steroids make that part bigger. Unless your talking about the twins, which get smaller. Talking about the kids.. there was a comparison to a horse. :puke LMAO.. Terry would be so proud of my lady-like talk right now wouldn't he Jim.. ?
June 10, 200520 yr I am reading a thread where Johnny Damon's twig and berries are being discussed...somwhow I can't stop laughing at that thought.
June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 02:58 PM) Talking about the kids.. there was a comparison to a horse. :puke Ahhh, well...I guess I can't argue much with that. But, I guess the atrophy doesn't always have to happen. There can be many excuses, such as alcohol, darkness, etc. But maybe we shouldn't get into this.

I dont hate people on how they play I hate people on how they act, and basicly he said we were crap and he is happy out of the s***hole of chicago.... I know Navarro seemed like an ass and David Wells but I didnt watch the sox every game back than like I do now... i was only a casual fan
June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(mreye @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 07:55 PM) Rick White I forgot about his stupid ass......good call

I've known players who have been on them.. they aren't easy to hide from someone practically living with you. But I agree his body change makes it easy to suspect.

No way would I say Loaiza is hated. Not only did he give us an amazing season which we could have never expected, we also got Contreras out of the deal.

Since I don't much like Johnny Damon, I'm just gonna keep right on suspecting him. I do still believe your account, though. I'll never look at Johnny D the same again.

June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 11:35 AM) I think it's funny that a lot of the Red Sox hitters have seen their power numbers go down this year (in the season of steroid testing). I was told by a MLB scout early last year that the Red Sox had a roster full of steroid abusers. This was said well before steroids became a big issue in baseball. who cares? I have no problem with players on steroids.
June 10, 200520 yr On-topic, I'd like to vote for Tony Castillo. automatic HR's for the opposing team, every time.
June 10, 200520 yr Author who cares? I have no problem with players on steroids. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i think its safe to say that you are in a small minority of baseball fans in general on this one
June 10, 200520 yr Hate is a strong word, but I absolutely hated seeing the conglomeration that was last year's fifth starter.
June 10, 200520 yr Thriller, Anyone? He'd come in with runners on and it's pretty much a gurantee that they'd be scoring. Also in no particular order: Koch, Ritchie, Danny Wright and Bobby Howry.
June 10, 200520 yr I totally forgot about paninagua (or however you spell it) Game 2 of a 4 game set in the middle of sept. 2003. We were already up 1 game to 0, and were set to cruise to victory. This nobody comes in, almost blows the lead, i guess causes a riot in the clubhouse. We go on to lose the final 2 games, splitting the series. I honestly believe if we had won 1 of those games, we would have won that division race. That was my first heartbreak with this team. Never forget it.
June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) I even hold it against Navarro that Schueler thought Navarro was worth the money that Clemens didnt get. I cannot believe Schueler picked Navarro over Clemens. I am still in disbelief over that. I just loved how Schueler got up in front of everybody and explained that he picked Navarro because Clemens was "washed up". :rolly
June 10, 200520 yr If I remember right, Buehrle credits a lot of success to Wells. Did I get that straight?
June 11, 200520 yr The second i saw this thread i thought of Ken Hill. He blew games and seemed to be smiling as he walked off the mound!
